e2B System User Help Creating a Telephone Number

  • To create a Telephone Number file, expand the "User" Maintenance folder, expand the desired "User" Group folder, expand the Telephone Number folder and click New.



  • Select the desired "User" from the available selections for the Telephone Number file to be created. If there are more than ten (10) available "Users", an extended search engine will appear. Click here for details on using this search engine.

      Note:
    • If you do not want to use the extended search engine, close the extended search engine and use the Next and Previous buttons instead to navigate through the available selections. To bring out the extended search engine, click the Search button.

    • The "User" may stand for Client or Guest.


  • A blank form will appear once a "User" has been selected. The form consists of the following fields; Telephone Location, Telephone Number, Direct Line, S.M.S. Capable, Availability in Days and in Time, Preferred Telephone Number, Record Status, Date Valid From, Date Valid Until, and Remarks.

  • Move your cursor until it is over the Telephone Location field. This is a required field.



    Once it is over it, click your left mouse button. You should see a vertical blinking line inside that text box. Start typing your desired Telephone Location using your keyboard. Once finished, press TAB or click on the next field.

  • On the Telephone Number field, type the desired Telephone Number. This is a required field.



  • On the Direct Line option, select the desired radio button. The default setting is set to Yes, if the Telephone Number is not a Direct Line, click No.



  • On the S.M.S. Capable option, select the desired radio button. The default setting is set to No, if the Telephone Number has an S.M.S. Capability, click Yes.



  • On the Available on every (Day of the Week) option, select the desired Day the Telephone Number to be available by clicking the Checkbox beside the selected day. This is a required field. Clicking the All Days checkbox will select all the days of the week. To deselect a day, uncheck first the All Days checkbox and click the desired day to uncheck it.

  • If you want the Telephone Number to be available on a specific period of time, type the desired Time on the From and Until fields. This is an optional field so you can just leave it blank.

  • On the Preferred Telephone Number option, select the desired radio button. The default setting is set to No, if you want the telephone number to be the ideal telephone number, click Yes.



  • If you want to clear all you have entered, just move your mouse over the Clear button and press your left mouse button.

  • Once you are sure about your entries, simply move your cursor over the Save button and press your left mouse button. A confirmation will appear either the action taken was a success or an error has occurred.

  • Click "User" button to return to the "Users" selection screen.

  • Click the Search "User" button to bring out the extended search engine and perform a specific search of available "User".

  • Click the Cancel button to exit the operation and return to the welcome page or main menu.

  • Click the Help button to bring out the help guide for the current page.

      Note:
    • The Search "User" button only appears when there are more than ten (10) available selections of "Users".

    • The "User" may stand for Client or Guest.
