e2B System User Help Viewing Inbox Messages

  • This feature allows you to View Inbox Messages. To do so, move your cursor on top of the Inbox found on the left panel just below the New and then click on it. This will bring out your list of messages. The nice thing about this feature is that, everytime you login, a flash warning appears indicating that you have new messages in your Inbox and asks you if you want to go directly to view your messages. Also, this New Message warning flashes from time to time reminding you of your new messages. A sample list of Inbox Messages is shown below.

Note: Everytime you open the e-doc Text! Messenger, you will arrive immediately on your Inbox showing all received messages.

  • Your inbox messages are grouped into set of 10's when you have more than 10 messages. So, to move to the next set of messages, you need to move your cursor on top of the Arrow (arrow pointing to the right) and click on it. To go back to previous set of messages, use the Back Arrow (arrow pointing to the left). To distinguish the New Message or Unread Message from the Read Message is that New Messages have little icons on each message, while the Read Messages have none. Or, the Number of New or Unread Messages are written in red.

Note: The only time you'll be able to see the Arrows is when there are more than 10 messages received.

  • The Refresh icon when clicked upon will refresh your inbox messages and return you to the 1st Set of Messages.

  • The Trash icon when clicked upon will only erase or delete all the Read Messages.

Note: The only time you'll be able to see the Trash Icon is when you have Read Messages in your inbox.

  • When you have selected the message you want to view, move your cursor on top of a message, may it be on the Date Sent Column, From Column or Subject Column or you will be able to know that a message can be opened when you hover your cursor on top of a message and it changes into a Pointing Hand, and then clicked on it. This will open up a new browser containing the message and other information about the message being viewed. A sample of opened Inbox Message is shown below.

  • The Delete button when clicked upon will delete or remove the current viewed message from your inbox and return you to your inbox page.

  • The Reply button when clicked, allows you to send a reply message.

  • The Forward button when clicked, allows you to forward or send the current viewed message to other users.

  • The Move button when clicked upon will move or forward the current viewed inbox message into a Message Folder. To do so, move your cursor on top of the Move message to dropdown list and click on it to reveal its contents. Select the desired message folder you want the message to be sent to and then move your cursor on top of the Move Button and click on it. This Message Folder is just like an extension of your Inbox, the only difference is that, when you have different message folders, your inbox messages can be sorted to your discretion.

  • The Exit button when clicked upon will close the Text Message Window and return to your Inbox Page.

  • The Help button when clicked upon will bring out the help guide for the current page.

Note: If the message contains an Attached Document, you can click on it to view its contents.
