e2B System Administrator Help e2B Detail!

The function of e2B Detail! is to create details that will be used for the different forms within the software. It's like it's the things that you want your users to fill up. You should use this function to somewhat personalize or should we say make it appropriate.
Now to make things clear, let me give an example;
If you try to create a Manager, you'll be prompted to choose a Manager Group. No problem. After you have chosen a Manager Group you will be prompted to choose a Detail... now where does that detail come from? Ok, the detail it looks for is created in Manager Detail. But the real question here is where do you take the things to be used in creating these manager details. It is here, in the e2B Details.

Let's take a closer look at its sub-folders; Detail Parameter, List of value, and Lookup Value.

  • Detail Parameter: This is where we set everything, we call these parameters. These parameters are then used in for example, Manager Detail. To create a parameter, you should choose/set a parameter type, like alphanumeric, date and time, numeric... etc. In these parameter types, we also have to set some options, like in the parameter type alphanumeric, we should set how many characters are allowed.

  • List of Values: List of Values are basically dropdown choices. It is likely that you already has seen a lot of these in web sites and softwares. Ok, to refresh your memory, they look like this;

    Let's get back to business. List of Values is a parameter type which means that whatever list of value you create will be used in the detail parameter. What do I mean? Ok, In the parameter dropdown menu in the detail parameter is an item called "list of value." When you choose this, the list of value dropdown (below the parameter options) can now be used. Those items that appear in that dropdown is created here.
