- Click "Units Converter" under the folder "Accessories."
This will reveal the following Units Converters: Area, Capacity and Volume, Circular Measure,
Computer Storage, Distance and Length, Energy and Work, Pressure, Speed, Temperature,
Time and Weight and Mass.
- To use this feature, move your cursor on top of any Units Converter
and click your left mouse button and this will open up an Interactive Units Converter Window.
Now, you will be able to convert any value to its different system units.
To do this, scroll through the different unit systems by moving your cursor on
top of the scroll bar, then click and hold down your left mouse button while scrolling down
to search for the desired unit to be converted. Or, use the Up
and Down Arrow Keys on your keyboard to scroll though the system units.
You can also adjust the Significant Figures your results to have, to this,
click on the drop down list of significant figures and select the desired number,
you will have choices from 1 to 7 only.
- After selecting where to enter the value to be converted,
move your cursor on top of the selected text field and click on it.
Now, type in the desired value using your keyboard keys.
- To view the result, click the Convert button or simply move your cursor on
top of any text field and click on it, excluding the selected text field.
Use the scroll bar to view through the other results.
- To shift or use other units converter without closing the current unit converter
and without going to the main accessories' menu, move your cursor on
the drop down list of Switch to: and click on it. This will reveal
the other Units Converters. To select the next unit converter, hover your cursor on
top of the selected converter to highlight it and then click on it.
This will then switch to your chosen units converter.
You can now repeat the process to convert a certain value to its different system units.
- To exit the Units Converter window, click on the
Icon on the top most right corner of the browser and return to the main menu.
Or, press Alt-F4 on your Keyboard.
