Print Log - This feature allows the user to monitor all print jobs made on every access to the system. The view print log displays all documents that were printed or on the process of printing; including the Log Date, the type of Print Log, the document being printed, the page and the number of copies printed, the owner of the document, the orientation and size of paper used, who created the document and finally the remarks.

  • To view the Print Log, click to expand the Activity Log folder and then click Print Log. This will show the View Print Log page.



  • On the view print log page, you can select the type of log to view. The following log types are:

    • All Types: This is the default log type which lists all print logs.
    • Altered: This shows the list of all print jobs that were interrupted and changed print status.
    • Deleted: This shows print jobs that were deleted.
    • Error: This shows all print jobs that encountered error while printing.
    • Hold: This shows all print jobs that were aborted and may be continued later.
    • Printed: This shows all finished print jobs.
    • Printing: This shows all print jobs while on the process of printing.
    • Queued: This shows all print jobs that are in line for printing.
    • Unknown: This shows all unknown print jobs.

      To select a log type, click the drop down list and select the desired log type.

  • To move to the next set of print logs, click the Next button and to go back to the previous set, click the Previous button.

  • Click the Refresh button to return to the 1st set of print logs.

  • Click the Exit button to abort the operation and return to the welcome page or main menu.

  • Click the Help button to bring out the help guide for the current page.
