- Click "Scientific" under the folder "Calculators."
A Scientific Calculator window will appear.
This type of calculator uses scientific functions for computations of angles,
logarithms, square roots, exponentials, probabilities, inverse functions
and also basic mathematical computations.
- To use this, move your cursor on top of the second text field, the one without 0 in it,
and click on it. You will know that you are on the text field,
if you see a blinking vertical line in it. If not repeat process.
- Now, using your mouse, point and click on any of the numbers, mathematical signs
and special functions to perform mathematical computations.
- To clear or erase the entry box, click on the C button found on
the lower right corner of the calculator. The CE button deletes
or removes a recent entered character. This also clears the entry box but one character
at a time.
- To exit the Scientific Calculator, click on the X Icon on
the top most right corner of the scientific calculator browser and return to the main menu.
